It's been several months since I've blogged. Mostly because of my overloaded schedule. However, I forgot to mention to my bloggin' friends some very exciting news in my life! I'm going to be the partner in crime wife to my wonderful honey.

Our proposal story will come later. So stay tuned, you won't want to miss the details of his breathtaking plan. :) But for now, here are some of my favorite engagement pictures.

The pictures by the willow tree are at my house. Willow Tree's remind of us the grandparents of ours that have passed away. We will always cherish the childhood memories we made with them.

On September 4th, 2007 he asked me to be his girlfriend on the bridge that is in a couple of the bottom pictures.

Clearance rocks

Guilty, again. I had too much fun crafting. :) I found this string of gems at hobby lobby on clearance. As soon as I saw them I knew what I would do. Make dangle earnings! My new thing is dangle earrings that are down to your collar bone. So sexy! I made these with craft pliers, earring studs & a string of gems. Enjoy! xo Court

Pretty Little Pendent

If it's illegal to have too much fun doing crafts, then I should probably be in jail. This little bracelet is an idea I thought of a couple weeks ago & only tonight has it become a reality! 

I'm new to stamping. I just purchased my first set of letters a couple days ago. I was anxious to start & made the mistake of not practicing first. oopppps haha....

I think I'm like a lot of crafters... we get an idea in our head... and we just want to make it. We don't want to waste time on 'practicing.' 

Needless to say, after I learned my lesson about practicing, I took up a real pendent and starting this project.

Diets are dumb

There are a couple things I have been 100% sure of my entire life. One of which is "diets are dumb." Women, especially, find themselves going on a diet or slimming down for that special occasion. It is silly. Unfortunately, that "quick" weight you lost will just get piled back on.. and then some.

Our bodies need nutrients...proteins, carbs & fats. Yes, I said fats. So many people think if they cut all fat from their diet or eat low-fat items that they will lose weight or be healthy. That way of thinking is wrongggggggggg. Infact, a lot of low-fat items have more calories than the normal items.

By eating a balanced meal, with a protein, carb & fat, you will stay fuller longer.

I'm starting to preach (clearly I'm passionate about health ha!) I'm going to shut my yapper & share this photo with you.

Every diet I've ever heard of is short-term... "do this for 16 days... 3 months" blah blah blah. How about giving your body the treatment it deserves? I love that idea. Skinny Rules for a lifetime. Put healthy foods into your body in order to get a healthy body. Your body will love you, trust me.

DIY: Hair Clip

My life wouldn't be complete without Crafts & Collectibles...

This craft session was extra special.... I got to watch my two cute cousins imaginatively create, giggle & best of all make crafts of their own.

Materials: 2 fabrics of choice, hair comb pin, bead/decorative pin, feathers, glue gun & scissors.

 1. Hot Glue Fabric #1 onto hair comb pin. I like to make mine ruffled, it adds some volume!

 2. Add Fabric #2 over Fabric #1.

 3. Hot Glue on Decorative Pin. ( The decorative pin is actually an old shower curtain holder!)

 4. These pins look awesome in a cute messy bun.

Here are the two cute little ladies who accompanied me tonight. They both made a hair clip & ring!

Top Five Friday: "Is he into you?"

It's a lovely Friday evening... if your like me, your spending it with a special guy. My boyfriend, Mr. Wonderful, is who inspired me to write today's Top 5 Friday. His charming self surprised me today... which might I add is hard to do! He had the idea to help me write this blog post, which of course I was thrilled about! Our topic: "is he into you?" Ladies.... this may be a once in a lifetime opportunity. You get to witness, from a guys perspective, the signs he will give to show that he is into you.

Top 5 Signs He's into You

1. When he looks directly into your eyes

2. He will pull out the chair and open the car door for you: It shows he respect you. 

3. When he takes care of you when your sick: Two and half year ago when Court got her wisdom teeth out, I sat and watched movies with her all day. And restocked the bags of frozen peas for her swollen cheeks. 

4. When a guy suffers through a day of shopping to be with his lady: Clearly shopping isn't a guys first pick, when he choses to go with you he's into you.

5. When a guy simply says, "You look beautiful today."
